Monday, April 04, 2011 – Day 5 School Cycle

Pancake Breakfast:
1. Saturday from  8:00 – 10:30. Robert Mitchell, the local MLA, is hosting a Pancake Breakfast in support of the Stonepark and Sherwood Breakfast programs at St. Mark’s Church on the corner of Pine Drive and Brackley Pt. Rd. There will be a free-will donation at the door for the breakfast. This is a great opportunity to get out and support our school’s Breakfast Program.

Access pass to ECMA events:
2. Raffle tickets are on sale all this week for an all access pass to ECMA events during the upcoming ECMA’s here in Charlottetown. Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased  in the main office at any time of day. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards Stonepark Gives Back. Get your tickets early as there are only 110 available to be sold.

There will be an important grade 7 band rehearsal tomorrow (Tuesday) from 12:25- 1:15. Grade 7 band rehearsal is canceled on Wednesday due to grade 6 testing.  Please check the band blog for the April newsletter and news regarding upcoming band

Cafeteria Special: Chicken Fajita with Rice

Spaghetti Dinner: 7 B will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on Wednesday April 6th.  Tickets are 5 dollars. Please see Madame Matheson or any students in 7B. Come out and enjoy a delicious plate of spaghetti.

Hello Stonepark. Mme Curley’s homeroom is hosting the Miss 8B pageant to be held on April 13th. in the cafeteria. Tickets will be on sale Monday, April 4th in the lobby at 12:15. For only $2.00, you can be a part of Stonepark history as we crown the princess of 8B.

Congratulations:  to the following players from the Bantam AAA Sherwood Falcons who came home from the Atlantics on the weekend with a “Silver Medal”.  Daryl MacCallum also won the top goaltender award for the tournament. Jack Connell, Joel Doran, Tyler Doucette, Michael Evoy, Kameron Kielly, Daryl MacCallum, Tyler MacDonald, Tanner McCabe, Curtis McGregor, Cameron O’Hanley, Jeremy Ramsay, Brock Richard,Dominique Ryan, Aaron Thibeau,Riley Thomson,Michael White and Brandon Smyth also on the team but attend other schools.
