Well, the big day is almost here. Students have been busily and excitedly raising funds for our second annual Stonepark Gives Back Concert happening tomorrow (Thursday). The school has been a bee-hive of candy and bake sales, pajama days, pie-throwing contests and spaghetti dinners over the past two weeks, all with the goal of raising as much money as they can for Ithanji Primary school in Kenya (our twin school), the Charlottetown Food Bank, and the Stonepark Healthy Eating program.
As a reward, students and staff will be treated to a great concert tomorrow afternoon and everyone is welcome to a second concert tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 7:00. A free-will offering for the three causes will be taken during the evening concert.
We have a great lineup of talented students, staff, and others from outside the school to entertain you, including some that have performed at previous ECMA’s, some that are performing at the upcoming ECMA’s and no doubt, some that will be performing at future ECMA’s.
