Friday, Day 2

1. Sub Day – With your choice of fixings for $3.50 – add a bottle of
water or bag of chips for only $1.00 extra.

2. (a)Stonepark 1 boys volleyball team defeated Queen Charlotte boys
yesterday 3-0.
(b)We will change the intramural schedule again. Boys and girls
are welcome to play volleyball any day until this activity is
over. Intramural volleyball will last for another week.

3. The girls field hockey defeated Summerside last night 6-0.
Sarah Steele led the scoring for Stonepark with 3 goals. Abbey
Hurley, Maddy Koughan and Abbey MacLellan added one each. Abbey
MacLellan put on a show of offensive skill as she made several
end to end rushes against the Summerside defence. Rookie Ashley
Fitzpatrick also had a great game up front for the Tigers.
Jacklyn MacKinnon had the shut out. Another outstanding effort
by the girls!

4. The Stonepark Girls Volleyball team will be participating in a
tournament today and Saturday at M.E. Callaghan. It would be
appreciated if the girls could be excused at 11::30, so they can
leave at 11:45.

5. The Stonepark AA girls soccer team earned their first victory of
the season. They shutout East Wiltshire 1-0. The girls again
carried the play in a tight battle. Kali Ross and Taylor
Monoghan played very well defensively, Taylor helped protect the
lead with a highlight reel defensive block on the goal line.
Carley Connell, Jessica Redmond and Maeve MacNally led the
offensive attack. Maeve broke free at the 47 minute mark to
score her first goal of the year, the game winner. Bailey Walker
made a couple of big saves to earn her first win and shutout of
the season. Congrats Girls

6. Girls “A-Team” soccer had a great game yesterday in Souris. It
ended with a 1-1 tie. Goal by Clara Ready and great keeping by
CiCi Clark.

7. The Boys Soccer team defeated East Wiltshire yesterday by a score
of 5-0. Scoring for Stonepark was James Foster, – Connor Graves
ran with 2 goals, and one goal each for Riley Dunphy and Jake
Deighan. Another shoutout by Blake Dejons and player of the game
was Connor Graves.
