Fri. Day 4

1.  Cafeteria Special:  Baked Fish Mashed Potato &
Veggie or  Popcorn Chicken Bowl and Bread Stick.

2.  Cadets:  Grade 7 students interested in being part of
Cadets are asked to attend a presentation in the
cafeteria during Reading Period on Tuesday Oct
18th. The presentation will last about 15 minutes
and is designed to provide potentially interested
students with some background on the program.
This session is for Grade 7 students only.

3.  Boys VolleyballIn dramatic fashion, Stonepark’s
“A” Boys Volleyball team got our first win yesterday
against Belfast. After winning the first two sets, we
lost  the next two, and fought back from 11-14 in the
5th set to win 16-14. Nice work, boys!

 4.  Girls Field Hockey: Our girls field hockey team was
successful last night against Montague.  Abbey
MacLellan made no mistake at the 2 minute
mark to score our teams first goal.  Play was back
and forth in the first half .  Maddy Koughan popped
one in  in the 2nd half to put us up 2-0.  The team
controlled the play for the 2nd half of the game and
had several other scoring opportunities.  Great
effort by all!

5.  Cross Country Team: Would all cross country team
members who need a drive to Mill River tomorrow
please see Mr.  Belliveau Wood to arrange a meeting
time.  If there are any changes in your commitment
to go please also see Mr. Belliveau Wood.

7.  Boys AA Volleyball:   Defeated Montague 3-0.
Practice is cancelled today. The boys will practice
Saturday 10-11:30am.

8.  Girls AA Soccer:  The Girls AA Soccer lost a good
match yesterday to Birchwood. 3-1. Jessica sniped
her first of the year. Playoffs begin next  Tuesday.

 9.  Boys Soccer:  Boys soccer team defeated Birchwood
8-1 yesterday.  Scoring for Stonepark was: Connar
Graves with a hat-trick, Kyle Arsenault with 2 goals,
James Foster, Riley Dunphy and Isaac Costain.

10.  Girls “A” Soccer:  The girls ‘A’ team soccer won
their game 3-0 yesterday against Grace Christian.
Clara Ready scored twice with Lindsay Burgoyne
added a single. Andrea Coady provided excellent
defense  while Margaret Cameron played strong in
mid-field. Maddy Burge shone  with awesome
corner kicks. Great Game Girls!!!!
