Picture for Yearbook: Grade nine students are reminded to take in a baby picture this week for the yearbook. The deadline was last Friday, but we will still accept them this week. Please submit to your home room teacher.  All pictures will be returned after the break.

Yearbooks will be sold at lunch break (12:05-12:25) in the foyer from Wednesday December 7th – Friday December 9th.  Prices are $28 or $32 personalized (cash is preferred).  Any parents who are interested in
getting a Christmas Gift Certificate for a yearbook are asked to contact Mme. Labelle (gr. 7), Mrs. Gallant (gr. 8), Mrs. Smith-MacPhail (gr. 7/8), or Mrs. Kirkland (gr. 9) before December 16th.

Stonepark’s Got Talent:  Christmas break is fast approaching and that means it’s time to get ready for our annual Stonepark’s Got Talent event. On the afternoon of December 20, students and staff will gather in the gym for an afternoon of entertainment before we head off for the holidays. Do you sing, act, dance, play an instrument or have any other special talent that you’d like to perform. If so, please see Mrs. Gallant (lower floor grade 8) for details on how you can be involved in the show. This event is always lots of fun and a great way to start the holiday.”

Cafeteria Christmas Dinner: We are going to start selling tickets for the Christmas dinner on December 2nd, and will sell them through to December 9th.  The price is $5.50 and the dinner will be on the 14th.

Students Going Off Grounds: We have received reports of students walking on the middle of the street on Rockcliffe Ave during the lunch hours. Students are reminded to pay strict attention to the traffic around them on all streets and to the appropriate crossing areas. We want everyone to be safe when out in the community at lunchtime. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Photography Club: The Photography club will today at 12:35 in Ms. Gillis’ class – downstairs house 8. The club is still accepting participants, so if you are interested learning more about photography we hope you will join us on Monday!

Library: The winners of the Read In draw in each house are Cassidy Turner 7D, Georgia Potter 8E and Dylan Jeffery 9J. The winners of Who is  Reading What contest are Eden MacFadden 9B and Margaret Cameron 9A.  Congratulations and please go to the library to pick up your prize.

Reminder to students that all overdue library books must be returned prior to receiving report cards on Tuesday. A new overdue list will be in teacher’s mailboxes today.

Band: There will be a jazz band rehearsal on Monday, December 5 from 12:30-1:15 to prepare for the Christmas concert.

Spare Change Collection:  Reminder, that we will be collecting spare change after lunch every day.  Proceeds from this will help support needy families during Christmas.  Mr. Valois, will have his container in the foyer to collect this money.  Thank you for your support.

Cheerleading:  Ready to cheer anytime, anywhere?  If you think you have what it takes to be a cheerleader, then come and sign up.  There will be a future announcement later, regarding the judges and the cheerleaders. So, if you can do  a bridge or handstand, please come along and join.

Cadets:   If you would be interested in gaining more information regarding the Army Cadet Program in Stratford, there will be a table set up in the foyer for the next three days. So, come by, and ask any questions that you may have regarding cadets.  We are hoping for at least “30 Cadets” to start with us by January, and the cadet program is held at Glen Stewart School on Thursday nights from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

Origami Cuba: The Origami Club will meet in Mr Shellington’s room today at 12:30 to continue working on
