On the afternoon of December 20, students and staff will gather in the gym for an afternoon of entertainment before we head off for the holidays. Do you sing, act, dance, play an instrument or have any other special talent that you’d like to perform. Maybe you and your friends would like to perform a lip sync or a dance routine to your favorite song. Everyone is welcome to take part. If you are interested in participating , please see Mrs. Gallant (lower floor grade 8) for details. This event is always lots of fun and a great way to start the holiday.”
Cafeteria Christmas Dinner: We are selling tickets for the Christmas dinner, and will sell them through to December 9th. The price is $5.50 and the dinner will be on the 14th.
Students Going Off Grounds: We have received reports of students walking on the middle of the street on Rockcliffe Ave during the lunch hours. Students are reminded to pay strict attention to the traffic around them on all streets and to the appropriate crossing areas. We want everyone to be safe when out in the community at lunchtime. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Spare Change Collection: Reminder, that we will be collecting spare change after lunch every day. Proceeds from this will help support needy families during Christmas. Mr. Valois, will have his container in the foyer to collect this money. Thank you for your support.
Cadets: If you would be interested in gaining more information regarding the Army Cadet Program in Stratford, there will be a table set up in the foyer for the next three days. So, come by, and ask any questions that you may have regarding cadets. We are hoping for at least “30 Cadets” to start with us by January, and the cadet program is held at Glen Stewart School on Thursday nights from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
Silent Auction: Silent auction will be held this evening from 6:00-7:00 in the lobby before the band concert.
