Picture for Yearbook: Grade nine students are reminded to take in a baby picture this week for the yearbook. The deadline was last Friday, but we will still accept them this week. Please submit to your home room teacher. All pictures will be returned after the break.
Yearbooks will be sold at lunch break (12:05-12:25) in the foyer today to – Friday December 9th. Prices are $28 or $32 personalized (cash is preferred). Any parents who are interested in getting a Christmas Gift Certificate for a yearbook are asked to contact Mme. Labelle (gr. 7), Mrs. Gallant (gr. 8), Mrs. Smith-MacPhail (gr. 7/8), or Mrs. Kirkland (gr. 9) before December 16th.
Stonepark’s Got Talent: ” Christmas break is fast approaching and that means it’s time to get ready for our annual Stonepark’s Got Talent event. On the afternoon of December 20, students and staff will gather in the gym for an afternoon of entertainment before we head off for the holidays. Do you sing, act, dance, play an instrument or have any other special talent that you’d like to perform. Maybe you and your friends would like to perform a lip sync or a dance routine to your favorite song. Everyone is welcome to take part. If you are interested in participating , please see Mrs. Gallant (lower floor grade 8) for details. This event is always lots of fun and a great way to start the holiday.”
Cafeteria Christmas Dinner: We are selling tickets for the Christmas dinner, and will sell them through to December 9th. The price is $5.50 and the dinner will be on the 14th.
Spare Change Collection: Reminder, that we will be collecting spare change after lunch every day. Proceeds from this will help support needy families during Christmas. Mr. Valois, will have his container in the foyer to collect this money. Thank you for your support.
Crimestoppers Anti-Bullying: Any students interested in participating in the Crimestoppers Anti-Bullying Art Contest 2011 can pick up an entry form in the main office. Winning entries can win a Blackberry tablet, and other prizes.

School Clothing: Any students that ordered school clothing, they are here in the office for pick up.
Basketball Teams: A girls Basketball team lost 21-22 to Vernon River Thursday. Kali Ross had 6 points, Emma Gallant had 5 points and Kassie Little and Ally MacKenzie both had 4 points. The team’s next game is against Montague in Montague at 5:30pm on Monday. The girls will practice today from 3-4:15.
The boys A team will practice tonight from 7-8:30 and tomorrow,Saturday, from 12-2.
Our girls AA basketball team won a tight game last night against Birchwood 43-38. Sadie Milner came through for her team rebounding at both ends of the floor and leading our scoring with 14 points. sarah Steele chipped in 11 points and Keely McGill added 8. The girls played a good game and will face Queen Charlotte tonight.
Any band instruments requiring repairs should be placed on the repair shelf in the band room by 9:00 on Monday morning.
There will be an Honours Band Rehearsal on Monday beginning at 12:30 in the band room.
Grade 7 and 8 band students are asked to bring ticket money ($10.00) for the Sound of Music on Monday. This will be collected during reading period on Monday. Students who will not be attending must let Mrs. Peters know by 3:00 today so that we can confirm our seating reservation at Confederation Centre. We will be attending the play on Thursday morning (Dec. 15).

Supergroup Singers: Reminder that the whole group will meet this Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. at the school
