Yearbook:
A reminder to all grade sevens wishing to find out more about the yearbook committee that there will be a meeting today (Tuesday, September 11th)  in Mme Horrelt’s classroom on the bottom floor of house seven. The meeting will take place during morning break at 10:20. This is an information session only and applications forms will be available after the meeting. Please encourage a friend to come along too!
Library: The library is now open.  Presently you are unable to borrow books as the patrons need to be updated.  Listen for a further announcement as to when you can borrow books
Band Announcements:
1.  There will be a short meeting for returning jazz band members (students who participated in jazz band last year) in the band room today during morning break.
2.  There will be a class for grade 7 students who were not able to attend summer music camp TOMORROW beginning at 12:35 in the band room.
Strings: String classes for students in grade eight and nine will be held on days 2, 4 and 6 during period 1.  All string students are asked to go to the string room following the announcements for a short meeting
GOLF TRYOUTS: Golfers interested in trying out for the school golf team are asked to register in the main office. The tryouts are open to all students in all grades, regardless of ability or experience, and they will be used to select our school team that will participate in the provincials in the Spring. Dates and times for the tryouts will be announced at a later date.
Soccer:
Reminder of boys soccer try outs today from 3-4:30
Soccer:  Reminder of Girls soccer try outs (A & AA) today from 3-4:30 (all girls 7, 8, & 9 please attend)
Girls field Hockey: try out today 3:00-4:30.
Boys Volleyball: Try-outs 3:10 to 4:30 for all students 7,8 and 9.
Dance-Off: Students interested in participating in The Dance-Off, Atlantic Canada’s Free style, hip hop competition on October 14 2012 can come to the office to pick up
