Collecting Spare Change:  Students and staff are reminded that we are collecting spare change this week in support of the Terry Fox Run this Friday. We have a container on the grade 8 bench in the foyer which is available all day. We will also have it in the lobby after lunch. Your support for this worthwhile cause is much appreciated.
National Jersey Day: On Friday Sept 28th, as part  of National Jersey Day and our annual Terry Fox Run, all students are asked to pay $1 and wear their favorite jersey. All money raised will go to support the Terry Fox Run and cancer research. Get in the spirit, have fun, and support a worthwhile cause.  If you do not have a jersey, you can wear a t-shirt of your favourite team or sport program. A group photo will be taken in the lobby during Reading Period.
Game Force: 2D Designers Boot Camp: Any students interested in participating in a 2D video game design after school program are asked to sign up in the main office. The program will run two hours per day for five consecutive days here at the school. The dates and times for the program are to be determined later on. There is a maximum of 12 spots in the group. Interested students can sign up in the main office.
Cross Country: There will be a cross country practice today from 3:15 – 4 pm – weather permitting.  Listen for announcements during period 6.
Girls Volleyball:  Stonepark girls volleyball will be playing against East Wiltshire here today, at 4:00.  Good Luck Girls.
Boys Volleyball Practice:  After school is cancelled, boys please come down at lunch with money and forms for tournament. 
Soccer Boys:  Bring your athletic fee, and forms down to phys ed office before lunch, or risk not being allowed to play in today’s game
Girls Soccer: Congratulations to the girls A soccer team for their 8 – 0 win against Birchwood.  Chelsey Gunn lead the scoring with 3 goals while Oryssya Ellis and Samantha Silliphant had 2 a piece. Clara Ready also contributed with a great goal which was duly celebrated by Mme. Matheson.  The solid defense helped Cici Clark with the shut out and cudos to the speedy Amelia Weber for playing through an injury.  Well done girls!
