Stonepark Girls #1 Soccer Team
:  The Stonepark girls #1 soccer team defeated the Queen Charlotte Coyotes 3-0 last night on Simmons field.  The girls controlled the game from the beginning with great passing and a fast pace.  This was the best team effort put together by the girls this year.  Maddy Hurley, Juli MacMillan, and Drew MacKeigan scored for the Tigers.  Chelsea Barnett recorded her 2nd shutout of the season.  Great work!
Girls Field Hockey Team:  Our girls field hockey team played a strong offensive game yesterday as they defeated Queen Charlotte 6-0.  Scoring for the Tigers: Sophie Carragher 2, Amelia Jenkins, Charlee Holden, Ailish Bergin and rookie Emma Jinks.  Payton Brown had the win in the net. The team continues to improve every game and will be playing in a tournament this weekend on the Cornwall turf.  All athletes on Stonepark Fall sports teams are asked to meet in the cafeteria following an announcement at reading period.  Players are asked to wear their team jersey for the afternoons activities.
