Boys Golf Team: Congratulations to the boys golf team as they successfully defended their Midget Boys Golf title yesterday at Avondale with an 18 stroke victory over ME Callaghan. Jordan Birt shot an 81 to tie for first but lost on the first playoff hole to claim the silver medal in individual play. Colin Koughan fired an 83 to secure the bronze medal. Nick Fitzpatrick – 85, and Nick Currie – 87 finished 4th and 5th respectively. The team total of 249 is a provincial record in intermediate golf. A great showing by the boys once again!
Stonepark Gives Back Stonepark Gives Back has been a school – wide project that has supported various organizations, both locally, provincially, nationally, and even internationally. This year, we are seeking the input of students for ideas that they would like to support for Stonepark Gives Back 2012-13.  Students are asked to submit suggestions for the cause they would like to see the school embrace. From these nominations, the committee will select the three (or four) most popular suggestions. From that list, students and staff will then have the chance to participate in a school-wide vote that will determine the cause that we will be supporting for this year. Students and staff can place their nominations in a suggestion box located in the main office up until Wednesday October 10th.
