Stonepark Gives Back Stonepark Gives Back has been a school – wide project that has supported various organizations, both locally, provincially, nationally, and even internationally. This year, we are seeking the input of students for ideas that they would like to support for Stonepark Gives Back 2012-13.  Students are asked to submit suggestions for the cause they would like to see the school embrace. From these nominations, the committee will select the three (or four) most popular suggestions. From that list, students and staff will then have the chance to participate in a school-wide vote that will determine the cause that we will be supporting for this year. Students and staff can place their nominations in a suggestion box located in the main office up until Wednesday October 10th.
Girls AA Soccer Team:  The Girls AA soccer team defeated Queen Charlotte last night 1-0 to remain undefeated so far this year. Kami Chaisson scored the lone goal and Chelsea Barnett recorded the shutout.  The girls played hard and moved the ball around well.  Drew McKeigan, Laura Burge, Nicolle Derry, and Juli MacMillan provided the spark needed on the field to help control the game.  In the back, Maddy MacInnis, Cristina Lourenso, Lindsay Burgoyne, and Emma Bradley stood tall once again shutting down any opportunites on goal.
