Cafeteria:  Baked Lasagna with Side Caesar Salad or Garlic Breadstick – As well – Christmas Turkey Dinner tickets will be going on sell today and will be selling them up to Friday, the 14.  Price of the dinner is $5.75 and will be served on Thurs. December 20th.
Stonepark Gives Back 2012-13: The finalists for Stonepark Gives Back 2012-13 have been made. Starting this Friday and continuing till next Wednesday,  homeroom teachers will be sharing background information  for IWK, Children’s Wish, Wadeng (Jacob Deng’s movement in Africa), and The Humane Society, on the lcd’s with students during Reading Period. The school wide vote (students and staff) will be held next Friday December 14th, during Reading, and we will announce the winners shortly thereafter. Thanks for your assistance with this worthwhile venture.
Stonepark’s Got Talent:  Reminder to students, if interested in putting an act in the annual Stonepark’s Got Talent, forward your name(s) to Mrs. Gallant, lower floor Grade 8 or to Mrs. Smith, lower floor House 7. The act can be of any variety: singing, dancing, acrobatics, lip sync, comedy routine, etc.
Top 10 in the Cross Country Fun Hunt!! Lacie Koughan  has made the top 10 in the Cross Country Fun Hunt!! Now we need to help her make it to top 3. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday, December 9th.  Lacie can certainly use your support by doing the following:

4. Click the big vote button on the right

The top 3 entries will be announced on December 10th. The final round of voting ends on Saturday, December 15th when CBC announces the winner.

1.  CONGRATULATIONS to the Stonepark students who performed last night in the Wizard of Oz production at Confederation Centre.  It was a wonderful show and we are proud of your performances. The Stonepark students involved include Grace Comeau (8A) and Haley Nicholson (8G) in the cast, and Jillian Winter (9I) who is performing in the orchestra.  Good luck to all for the rest of the show’s run!
2.  All band students MUST take instruments home today.   The Christmas concert is on Tuesday night and the band room shelves should be empty today at 3:00!!  All band students will be involved in rehearsals on Monday afternoon, so please come prepared.
Clothing Orders: All girls placing an order for gym pants with Mrs. Steele must hand in order form and money this morning.  If you have not confirmed a size please do this at morning break.
Girls A Basketball:  The Girls A Basketball team had a tough loss last night 36-38.  First basket for tigers were made this week:  Riley McGill, Chelsea Barnett, Hailey Terstege, Sam Silliphant, Tess Lyons, Ailsh Bergin, Lila Willdey.
