Anti-Bullying:
Students in schools across the island are invited to participate in an anti-bullying video contest. This is a joint initiative between Crimestoppers and the PEI Rocket. Contest details can be found on posters in the lobby on the bulletin board as well as on the stairs. The posters can also be found on the window of each VP’s office. Personnel from Crimestoppers and the Rocket will be here on Feb 4th to explain the project further and provide more details. Good luck to all participants.
Jordan Francis Concert
:  Students who are going to the Jordan Francis concert on Sunday are reminded that each person attending is asked to bring a food donation for the Food Bank. There will be bins at the concert they can drop of their food item. If they want ideas on what to bring, they can check out the videos at the Cross Country Facebook page.
Boots:
Somehow there has been a mix up in boots that were left at the gym doors. The boot she is missing is brand new, light brown suede-like, size 7, with three shark tooth button up decos to hold the elastics that go around the boot.  It says SM at the back of the boot which stands for Soft Moc.  The student’s name is: Cassidy Hughes who’s in grade 7; immersion w/Suzanne Blanchette.
Girls A Basketball:  The A girls had a barn burner in Montague winning 50 – 47 in overtime. The entire team played awesome, fighting right to the buzzer. Top scorers were: Cristina Lourenso  17, Kali Ross 11, Ally MacKenzie  6, Hallie Currie  4, Emma Bradley  4, Lindsay Sanderson  4, Chloe Paquet  2, Chelsea Barnett 2.
Girls Basketball:  Members of the girls basketball team will be selling some snack items in the lobby at break this morning.
