Tues. Day 3 Announcements

Cafeteria:   Pasta Bake with Garlic Bread

Pink T-Shirts: Stonepark’s pink t-shirts  will be on sale in the lobby at break and in the office today, at a cost of $10 with $1 from the sale of each t-shirt going to Stonepark Gives Back. These t-shirts will be on sale till Feb. 8th. Students and staff will be able to wear these shirts as part of the National Pink Shirt Day which is coming up on Feb 27th.  Let’s support two great causes with the purchase of these shirts. Students who purchase a pink t-shirt, either the one from here at school, or the ones on sale in the community, can wear it to the PEI Rocket game on Feb 24th and receive $2 off the price of a student ticket.

Anti-Bullying:  Students in schools across the island are invited to participate in an anti-bullying video contest. This is a joint initiative between Crimestoppers and the PEI Rocket. Contest details can be found on posters in the lobby on the bulletin board as well as on the stairs. The posters can also be found on the window of each VP’s office.  The assembly scheduled for yesterday will be held on Thursday morning.

Congratulations:  Go out to the members of Ripped Paper – Tanuj Fernando, Stefan Leclair, Connor Nabburs, and Logan Richard – who are one of the eight finalists in Q-93’s Battle of the Bands. They will be part of an upcoming competition  on Feb. 19th. at the Guild.  Good luck, boys.
